Great Backyard Bird Count 2018 Results

Hisey Park and Farmhouse a "Hot Spot"

In February Friends of Warren County Park District hosted the annual Great Backyard Bird Count at Hisey Park to the delight of approximately 100 attendees over two days.  Highlights included close up views of the Pileated Woodpecker, and courtship displays of American Woodcocks.  We tallied 38 species of birds.  Only Caesar Creek State Park reported more species in all of Warren County.
