Monthly Nature Series at Otterbein
Monday, 2/26/18, 1-2pm
Learn about one of Ohio’s most misunderstood mammals with Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist (OCVN) Dave Woehr. If you’ve never seen a coyote up close,you will have a chance to check out the Warren County Park District’s taxidermy coyote mount at this program. Dave will explore the following topics with guests: history, lore, eastward migration, Ohio population, characteristics, habitat, diet, vocalization, breeding, studies and research, interactions with humans and pets, hunting and trapping.
This indoor program will be held in the Phillippi Meeting Room at Otterbein.

Our monthly nature series is free and open to the public, thanks to the generosity
of Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices of Lebanon and the Friends of Warren County Park District.
Come and meet Teri Schmidt. She will be presenting free motivational sessions designed to get you moving no matter what your age or level of physical fitness. Make new friends, learn training techniques, get inspired and design a healthier you by setting and achieving your own personal goals, be it a stroll in the park, completing a 5K, or running a marathon

The group will meet Thursday, March 29th at 6 pm.at Shelter 27 in Warren County Armco Park and will continue to meet and train on Thursdays, same time, same place.
Some of you and your children may know Shannon from her in-school enrichment programs and after-school Ecology Club at JF Burns Elementary School. In her first year with WCPD she brought the "Tech Free Tuesday" and "100 Hours Outside" summer challenge programs, and is working with scout troops and retirement communities.
