Monthly Nature Series at Otterbein
Monday, 1/29/18, 1-2pm – Winter Birds
Join Warren Co Park District Naturalist Shannon Russell to learn about common winter birds found in southern Ohio, and how to identify and attract them to your yard. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources has supplied us with their Common Birds of Ohio identification guides, which will be given to each participant. We will also explore how to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count, and attendees will have the opportunity to make a homemade suet feeder out of upcycled materials.
This indoor program will be held in the Phillippi Meeting Room at Otterbein.
